Re: Emiliano Sala (former West ham target) plane missing
Tests on his body have revealed that Salas showed exposure to carbon monoxide. The levels in his blood were sufficient to cause unconsciousness, seizure and or a heart attack. Doubtless the pilot, whose body is yet to be found will show the same signs.

Planes like the Piper Malibu produce high levels of CO but the exhaust system is designed to effectively keep the inside of the fuselage safe. Because of the CO ingress danger it is mandatory for the planes to be fitted with more than one rising level of CO monitor.

The enquiry will not report until 2020.

Doesn't seem to be related to Sala, but McKay now charged with fraud. Over property. Could go to prison if found guilty.

Anyone surprised?

why not just hire one of those private taxi jets? seems awfully stingy to me to put him in a prop

McKay has recently been issued with a harassment order by the police following complaints by Cardiff City officials.

I've said from the beginning McKay and his son are fully liable for what transpired.

It couldn't of happened to a more deserving pair of cunts...the Cardiff bunch are a bit cunty too but Mr Tan strikes me as somebody you don't want to cross or fuck with under any circumstances...I bet he has organised crime behind him which is bigger and scarier than any empty threat McKay can come up with.

Modern world today. Someone has to be held responsible even if it is a tragic accident.

Blame James O’Brien then he loves all the scare stories

Re: Emiliano Sala (former West ham target) plane missing
He didn't go on a regular flight because remainers convinced him that scheduled planes flying from mainland Europe would not be allowed to land in the UK.

As soon as he saw that plane on the tarmac he should have said fuck off! I would have and I’m joe bloggs not a £15m player on the verge of a great move! Poor sod nobody deserves that shit!

Re: Emiliano Sala (former West ham target) plane missing
geoffpikey, he didn't go through a regular flight because Mckays son as an agent organised it, Sala woud have had no idea what was being sent presumably he trusted the agent to sort it.

Re: Emiliano Sala (former West ham target) plane missing
If you dare, go to the Daily Mail online. The original bloke (now being questioned) booked to fly dodged out at the "11th hour" and asked Ibbotson to do it instead. Even though the latter was not qualified. Shambles.

https://mol.im/a/7159559

dunno if Cardiff City have much blame in this? They were probably just thinking: "great, he'll be here tomorrow!". Agents (you know who), incompetence and cost-cutting did Sala in.

Why didn't he just get a regular flight though? It's not like he was impoverished. He'd have plenty of money to ship over his other things: and, one assumes, his partner.

It's depressing that a sport so awash with cash can be so careless, on all sides.

What a fucking mess.

Re: Emiliano Sala (former West ham target) plane missing
The Evening Standard say the man arrested and since released under investigation is David Henderson, a pilot used regularly by Willie McKay.

Might be someone connected with keeping the doomed plane properly serviced.

Ibbotson was the pilot and presumed dead, it would be a wonder if he was arrested

Not Willie Mckay or David Ibbotson

Re: Emiliano Sala (former West ham target) plane missing
The arrest was in North Yorkshire
The man was aged 64
It’s not Colin warnock he’s 70!

A 64 year old man has been arrested for manslaughter. Who's that I wonder?

And now it looks like the pilot was colour blind and not registered to fly at night !

Cardiff look beyond shit, looks like they are disowning a dead guy.

Re: Emiliano Sala (former West ham target) plane missing
If he signed the contract and the authorities registered him as a Cardiff player then they signed him and they have to pay the fee, if not there would definetly be a case that they wouldn't have to pay...right?
